2021 Fall Virtual Indigenous School Games
  • Alberta schools participated in modern and traditional Indigenous, Metis and Inuit games. Winners received medals and banners for their schools!
Western Varieties 1st Annual Charity Golf Scramble for the ISCA KidSport Fund - August 2021
  • A fun tournament for all skill levels with amazing first place prizes for our competitive teams in Alberta with all proceeds going towards the ISCA KidSport fund.
2021 Play Ball Program - Baseball Summer Camps in partnership with the Jays Care Foundation.
  • There were 16 Indigenous communities/programs participating in the 2021 summer camps from across Alberta. We would like to thank Jays Care for providing this amazing opportunity for our Indigneous Youth.

Boxing Alberta Women and Girls Boxing Camp for all skill levels - August 2021

ISCA UofA Kinesiology, Sport & Recreation (KSR) Case Competition - Fall 2021
  • University of Alberta students analyzed data collected from Indigenous people throughout the province related to the needs, barriers and priorities for health and wellness through sport, physical activity and recreation (collected by ISCA). The 22 teams presented their cases to Indigenous judges where the winning cases were turned into pilot projects in the Spring of 2022.
Indigenous Trail Run Series - September/October 2021
  • Hosted in Siksika Nation and Tsuut’ina Nation, the Trail Run Series was a race series to promote a healthier way of life through physical activity; bringing nations together and running through the traditional scenery of traditional land. Partnered with the ISCA.

Hockey Alberta Referee Zoom Information Session
  • ISCA hosted an experienced panel of referees from around Alberta for participants to ask questions and gain information on how to become a hockey referee. The session included the referee hiring process, cost/fees and Q&A period.
ISCA and Edmonton Ski Club Snowboard and Skiing Lessons - January 2022

IIHF 2022 World Junior Hockey Championships - August 2022

Team Alberta NAIG ISCA Charity Golf Tournament - September 2022

ISCA - Team Alberta North Arctic Sports Qualifier Event - November 2022
  • The ISCA partnered with Team Alberta North to hold a qualifier event in Fort McMurray for athletes in the Wood Buffalo region to see if they could be competitive in the Arctic Sports at the Arctic Winter Games.
