ISCA leadership just had a historic meeting this week at the Alberta Legislature Building sitting down with Alberta’s Minister of Culture, Multiculturalism, and Status of Women Leela Aheer and Minister of Indigenous Relations Rick Wilson to engage in developing a working relationship with the province and ISCA and to discuss the needs of our young talented athletes for Team Alberta for the 2020 North American Indigenous Games in Halifax this summer.

The statue behind them is of Chief Crowfoot (Isapo-Muxika) the Blackfoot leader and Chief who signed Treaty 7 on September 22, 1877 at the Blackfoot Crossing on the Bow River in the present day Siksika Nation.
