On January 10-12 Richard Goodswimmer attended the Treaty 8 Youth + Elder Connect Conference in Jasper, Alberta. The purpose of the conference is to learn, create, network, and build relationships with each other, Treaty 8 Staff and our Elders. They discussed many topics relevant to treaty 8. On Sunday, Richard presented to the group about the ISCA, what the organization does, who the new program coordinators are, community engagement as well as a brief overview of the NAIG and NAHC process.
